iPlay Pro is a file viewer and editor for PDFs, Office documents, images, video, and archives. Every feature is designed to work fully offline:
When you open a document, image, or video through Android's file/document picker, iPlay Pro reads it directly from where it already lives on your device. The content is never uploaded, copied to a server, or shared with us.
A short list of files you've recently opened is kept in a local, on‑device database so you can jump back into them. This list — file names and on‑device links only, never file contents — never leaves your device and is cleared if you clear the app's data.
The live scanner uses your camera only while the scan screen is open. Frames are processed on‑device (edge detection and cropping) to build a PDF you choose where to save. No image is transmitted anywhere.
On‑device OCR reads text out of scanned pages and images locally. Neither the image nor the extracted text is sent off your device.
The built‑in assistant runs a local language model on your device. Your questions and its answers are processed entirely on‑device and are never sent to us, to Google, or to any other server — this feature works with your device's network connection off.
iPlay Pro requests the smallest set of permissions each feature needs, and nothing runs in the background:

iPlay Pro does not hold the Android Internet permission. Without it, no code in the app — including any third‑party library it uses — is technically able to open a network connection.
If iPlay Pro crashes, a dialog asks whether you'd like to send a report to help fix the bug. This is entirely your choice, every time:
iPlay Pro is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age — the app has no data‑collection mechanism to begin with.
If this policy ever changes, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated. Since the app collects no data, any future change would describe new on‑device functionality, not new data sharing.
